Lost Eden
From "In Search of Virginia Woolf’s Lost Eden in Cornwall," by Ratha Tep, New York Times, Feb 26 2018
Virginia wasn't always the radical.
Before truth and beauty, her circle
ever-constant
there was Adeline
who spent rugged gray mornings
on the Great Western Railway, hugging tight
golden languid
deep blue distance, like her family.
Long an admirer, not only of possibilities
but of such pleasure,
I decided to go in search of her.
